Character Origin (part 1): Should be at least 3 sentences covering the following: 
(1) Where they are from? (City/State/Country) 
(2) What's their education? 
(3) What's their professional background? (even if its non-existent) 
(4) What's their family's position on your character's status?
(5) Include any distinguishing features about them (religion, ethics, morals, prejudice, racism, musical taste, sports, video games, etc.) 

Character Origin (Part 2): This section gets more gritty about the writer's ability for the character. 
(1) What is their challenge / problem in life?
(2) If joining Xavier's school or The Brotherhood of Mutants; Explain what you think your character will gain out of the experience.

Not so fun fact - 80% of applicants fail at this section. Here is a guideline of what we DO NOT WANT. 

DO NOT LIST
(1) Day of birth
(2) Irrelevant information: IE (Smoked marijuana) and there is no where in the application does that information become relevant. 
(3) Paragraphs, if you put a paragraph in this section you will be rejected instantly. Paragraph, by our standards = 4 articulated and complete sentences or more.

DO LIST
(1) Relevant, something already referenced in your "Training", "Personality", or "Ability" sections (Duh)
(2) Something that will be elaborated (explained) in your audition post.
(3) Things that brought your character to the door step of this RP. IE: (Your character's parents would throw them out if they didn't go to college)
